Take Part in a Study about Autism and Employment

The Academic Autistic Spectrum Partnership in Research and Education (AASPIRE) wants to learn more about what helps people on the autism spectrum succeed in skilled or professional jobs*. Our goal is to understand what might make it easier for autistic people to get and keep skilled or professional jobs.

You may be able to participate in the study if you:

  • live in the U.S.
  • are age 18 or older
  • have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum (ASD, autism, Asperger’s, PDD-NOS, Rett syndrome, or CDD)
  • have been successful with a professional job or have looked for a professional job (even if you have not gotten one)

The study is an in-depth interview about your experiences with employment. You may participate by email, telephone, text-based online chat, online video conference, or, if you live in the Portland, Oregon metro area, in person.

The interview may take 1-2 hours. If you take part, you will be given a Visa gift card worth $50.
